How do I find the URL or link to an article?

Answer

All citations in articles from databases like EBSCOhost have a permanent link.

Do a search for your topic. From the results list click on the article. Then you will see a list of options somewhere on the page - where depends on the database. For instance in EBSCOhost the list of options is on the right, in Primo Library Catalog the options are at the top of the record.

Look for a symbol that looks like interlocking links - this symbol means "permalink" which is a permanent URL.

permalink symbol

This will give you a permanent link to the record - if you use the normal URL in your browser it will not bring you back to the page after you close your browser.  Always use the permalink!
