How do I check the status/renew my library items?

If you would like to check if you have books/other items checked out, check the due dates on items, or renew library materials this will detail how to do so.


Answer

You can monitor your own library account, or call the Circulation Desk when the library is open at 570-422-3126 to get help with your account.

To check your account on your own, follow the below steps. Images for the steps will be at the end.

  1. Go to the Kemp Library homepage.
  2. Click on Primo Library Catalog under Find Information. 
  3. In the upper right corner click on "Sign In". 
  4. Select University Staff and Students and login using your D2L/ESU Email username and password (if your email is ksmith@esu.edu you would use ksmith).  You will now see your name in the upper right corner of Primo (here it would be K... Smith.
  5. Click on your name and then select "My Library Card" or "My Loans" from the drop down menu to view items you have on loan, etc.  
  6. To renew items, click on the item you want to renew and view the options.
